Part 1 of a Two-Part Webinar
What is this great resource called FieldScope? How can you use it? What can educators and natural resource professionals get out of it? These two free webinars will address these questions and more.
Great Lakes FieldScope is a new web-based mapping, analysis and collaboration tool that uses real data and observations to investigate real-world issues. In this two-part webinar series Michigan Sea Grant, in collaboration with National Geographic, will introduce teachers and non-formal educators to Great Lakes FieldScope.
The first session is scheduled for 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19. The second session is scheduled for 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5. The target audience is middle and high-school educators; however, any formal or informal educator of students, volunteers or lifelong learners will walk away with solid knowledge of this great new resource.
