Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF)<\/span><\/h2>\n

To develop land for public outdoor recreation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Any State and Local unit of government, HCMA, Regional Recreation Authorities, and Federally-recognized Native American Tribes that has a DNR approved 5-year recreation <\/span>plan. To be eligible to apply for a recreation grant, the 5-year recreation plan must be submitted on or before February 1 of the application year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of the criteria includes how closely the proposed project aligns with the 5-year recreation plan, as well as how well <\/span>it aligns with the overall State Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation <\/span>Plan (SCORP).<\/span><\/p>\n
