Site must meet definition of a facility under part 201 of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>FUNDING LEVEL:<\/strong>\u00a0Up to $1m for brownfield redevelopment grants and $2m for site reclamation grants<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>ANNUAL DEADLINE:<\/strong> Continuous*<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>CONTACT: <\/strong>Based on location <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*NOTE: Source of funds: Clean Michigan Initiative Bond Fund, Renew Michigan Fund<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.michigan.gov\/egle\/about\/organization\/remediation-and-redevelopment\/brownfields\/grants-and-loans\">More details<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coastal Planning and Construction Grants<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>PROGRAM OBJECTIVE: <\/strong>To assist in the protection, preservation, restoration, enhancement and to wisely develop the nation\u2019s longest freshwater coastline, the Michigan Coastal Management (MCM) Program provides grant funds to promote vibrant and resilient coastal communities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>ELIGIBILITY:<\/strong> Coastal units of government, regional planning agencies, state agencies, academic institutions, non-profit organizations, and tribal governments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>CRITERIA: <\/strong>Projects should further the Michigan Coastal Zone Management program, degree of public benefit, project readiness, and the likelihood that the project could proceed in the absence of<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>FUNDING LEVEL:<\/strong> Coastal Zone Management funding.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planning Grants range from $10,000 to $75,000; Low-Cost Construction Grants range from $10,000 to $200,000.
