SUMMARY:Unpacking Coastal Resilience for Effective Cross Sector Collaboration
DESCRIPTION:Water@Michigan Collaborative\, hosts in-person networking workshops with community partners. \nQuarterly Workshops are an opportunity for university faculty to meet and listen to community partners. The goal of these workshops is to foster mutually beneficial relationships between community partners and interested university researchers by: \n\nGathering knowledgeable people with common priorities;\nCurating connections to university resources;\nOffering connections to other community organizations with similar interests;\nSharing information and expertise about priority water topics; and\nFacilitating partnerships that can address projects about specific water topics.\n\nWe work with community partners to discern focal topics and co-create effective formats that limit redundancy and burdens on our partners. \nUnpacking Coastal Resilience for Effective Cross Sector Collaboration\nThis panel discussion will be moderated by Jen Read\, University of Michigan Water Center Director \n\n\n\n\nMike Shriberg\, Director of Engagement\, Cooperative Institute for Great Lakes Research & Michigan Sea Grant \n\n\nJenna Jorns\, Managing Director\, Great Lakes Integrated Sciences and Assessment \n\n\nSilvia Newell\, Director\, Michigan Sea Grant & Professor School for Environment and Sustainability \n\n\n\n\nLocation: Rackham Building\, Assembly Hall \n\n\nFor more information\, including format options\, contact Jen Read |  graham.umich.edu/wateratmichigan/annual
