County Drop-off Sites for Shrink-wrap

Emmet County

Emmet County accepts a variety of materials, including LDPE at the Emmet County Recycling Center in Harbor Springs. There are also twelve public recycling drop-off sites throughout Emmet County available to boaters able to bundle and fit their shrink-wrap into the bins provided. Marina drop-off sites: The following marinas in Emmet, Cheboygan and Charlevoix counties are working with Emmet County Recycling on a shrink-wrap collection program and will accept bundled shrink-wrap from the general boating public:

Washtenaw County

Washtenaw County Shrink-wrap & Greenhouse Film Recycling Program provides recycling service for high- and low-density polyethylene, or #2 and #4 plastics.

Four public drop-off sites are available:

  • Washtenaw County Regional Drop-Off Station, Ann Arbor
  • Western Washtenaw Recycling Authority, Chelsea
  • Mac’s Marina, Whitmore Lake
  • Mill Creek Sport Center, Dexter
