January 2018:

Focus: This webinar, held January 30, 2018, covered state program updates, mid-project summaries on Ohio and Wisconsin’s GLRI small grants, and an overview of the Great Lakes Marine Debris Program efforts. For a recording of this meeting, see: YouTube video

February 2017: 

Focus: The network convened via webinar on February 24, 2017 to feature updates on the four Clean Marina projects that the network supported in 2016; topics include volunteer program administration, scholarships to incentivize participation, program evaluation, and a participant survey. March 2016:

Focus: This meeting, held via webinar on March 4, 2016, provided an overview of the Network’s purpose and shared resources (Part 1). The second half of the program (Part 2) featured program-led updates, introductions to four 2016 GLCMN-funded projects, and identification of  preferences for future meeting structure and content. March 2013: Stormwater Management at Great Lakes Marinas

Focus: This webinar, held March 12, 2013, provided an overview of stormwater management and requirements in the Great Lakes states and provided a forum for discussion among representatives from both public and private sectors. See below for electronic documents of each presentation.

February 2013: Clean Marina Classroom Preview

Focus: This meeting, held via webinar on February 21, 2013, provided an introduction to the newly revised Clean Marina Classroom — an online training tool developed in support of existing and developing Clean Marina certification and educational efforts.

November 2012: Aquatic Invasive Species: Management at Great Lakes Marinas

Focus: This webinar, held November 7, 2012, provided an overview of aquatic invasive species management and requirements in the Great Lakes states and provided a forum for discussion among representatives from both public and private sectors.

July 2012:

Focus: Overview of Great Lakes Clean Marina programs and their structure (Mich., Ohio, Wisc., Minn. and Ill.), discussion of developing a model of partnership for sustainability, measuring program benefits.

Focus: This webinar, held March 21, 2012, provided an overview of boat wash water handling requirements in the Great Lakes states and provided a forum for discussion among representatives from both public and private sectors.

February 2012: International Marina and Boatyard Conference Clean Marina Webinar

Focus: This webinar, held February 1, 2012, informed marina and boatyard operators and Clean Marina program managers of the latest information on important environmental topics, including best practices employed by certified Clean Marinas.

Focus: Planning for boat bottom washing webinar, discussion of no discharge zones, and the Clean Boater Act.

July 2011:

Focus: Kickoff meeting to provide an overview of GL CM programs, outline role of Great Lakes Clean Marina Network, initial discussion of boat bottom washing issues, and identification of potential topics for GLCMN to address.
