IIJA & IRA Funding Tracker Michigan-specific!
This tool aims to assist local governments, municipal utilities, research institutions, certain tax-exempt groups, and/or tribes identify funding opportunities and tax programs that are relevant to Michigan and sustainability from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA)/Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) passed on November 15, 2021 and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) passed on August 16th, 2022.

FEMA Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities
The Federal Emergency Management Agency provides grants like Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities to assist “states, local communities, tribes and territories as they undertake hazard mitigation projects, reducing the risks they face from disasters and natural hazards.”
Flood Funding Finder
Funds intended to address community resilience regarding flooding from the American Flood Coalition.
Restore Our Coast Funding Resources: Coastal Erosion and Flooding
Lists of funding resources organized into funding databases; federal, state, and local government grants; and foundations and other private sources. Part of Restore Our Coast, which provides educational information on how to develop a coastal restoration project. Also includes funding sources for Water Quality, Invasive Species, and Wildlife and Fish Habitat Restoration.
Great Lakes Protection Fund (GLPF)
GLPF is a publicly capitalized, private corporation created in 1989 by the governors of the states surrounding the Great Lakes. It is a permanent environmental endowment that supports actions to improve the health of the Great Lakes ecosystem. Each year, Michigan receives an allocation to support state projects.
