Brandon Uckele

Role

Brandon Uckele joined Michigan Sea Grant in Spring 2021 as an Administrative Project Coordinator before transitioning to his role as Program Manager & Fiscal Officer in Spring 2022. Brandon oversees the unit’s administrative and financial duties and responsibilities. He manages all pre- and post-awards at Michigan Sea Grant, the collection and submission of reporting to state and federal sponsors, and fiscal compliance with our sponsors and the University of Michigan. Additionally, he works closely with colleagues on the fellowship and internship programs, National Ocean Science Bowl, and biannual RFP process. Brandon has two children and enjoys spending time exploring new areas of Michigan with his family.
