For the recent premiere of The Dinosaur Fish documentary, more than 160 lake sturgeon fans gathered at the Delta College Planetarium in Bay City to watch the short film and learn more about sturgeon restoration efforts in Saginaw Bay. If you missed the premiere, you can still watch the film, adopt a sturgeon, or buy a sturgeon T-shirt to help support the restoration program. Watch for a cameo appearance by Michigan Sea Grant Extension Educator Meaghan Gass, who has been highly involved in the sturgeon restoration efforts.
