Ludington Regional Fishery Workshop

February 18 @ 9:00 am - 2:15 pm

Charter fishing boat on Lake Michigan

The 2023 Ludington Regional Fishery Workshop will include presentations from scientists, educators, and fishery managers with Michigan DNR, NOAA/GLERL, USGS, US Fish & Wildlife Service, MSU and Michigan Sea Grant. Topics will include mass marking results, alewife survey methods, and water level expectations in addition to updates on stocking levels and other fishery management issues.

This year’s workshop will also provide time for small group discussions with presenters over the lunch break. Pre-registration is required to attend this workshop. The cost is $35 to attend in person, with lunch buffet included.

If you cannot attend in person, we are also offering the option to attend via Zoom for the morning and afternoon sessions. Presenters will be able to answer questions that come in via Zoom after their presentations. Pre-registration is also required for participation via Zoom. There is no cost to attend the online sessions, but Zoom participants will not be able to participate in networking over the lunch break.
