Three Minute Webinars on Citizen Science

November 8, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

fish diet study team MSUE

The NOAA Central Region Collaboration Team invites you to join us from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday, November 8, for a special webinar designed to share information about citizen science and opportunities for the public to participate in exciting initiatives.

Dan O’Keefe, Southwest Michigan Sea Grant Extension Educator, will be presenting on Salmon Ambassadors during this webinar on Friday (2-3 p.m. EST). A recording will be available afterwards.

What’s a Three Minute Thesis Webinar? Borrowing from a format used by universities across the country, colleagues from NOAA (Office of Education, NMFS and OAR), along with partners from the National Academies, Colorado State University, NASA, Michigan Sea Grant, and the U.S. Geological Survey, will each have one slide and three minutes to present on their topic. There will also be time for questions from the audience between each group of speakers. Details are provided in the attached agenda and a recording will be available to view following the webinar. Please feel free to share this with others who may be interested.

We look forward to your attendance and feedback on the webinar – a way to get to know more about your colleagues, partners, noteworthy projects, unique ideas, and more!

Please register for the Three Minute Thesis Webinar on Citizen Science here.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

If you have any questions or would like any additional information, please contact Keli.Pirtle@noaa.gov or Bethany.Perry@noaa.gov.
