2020 Southeast Michigan Regional Fisheries Workshop

Spring fishery workshop offers current research and information related to the status of the Lake Erie, Detroit River & Lake St. Clair fishery. Michigan Sea Grant and Michigan State University Extension, in partnership with the Friends of the Detroit River, MI Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Division, Army Corp of Engineers, Great Lakes Observing System and Michigan Department of Health & Human Services will be hosting a free evening workshop.

The workshop is open to the public, and will provide valuable information for anglers, charter captains, resource professionals, and other community members interested in the following topics:

  • MDNR Fishery Update & Fisheries management activities
  • Great Lakes Water Levels
  • Great Lakes Acoustic Telemetry Observing System
  • Eat Safe Fish Program

You are invited to participate! Open to the public at no cost.
