The day will begin with a brief introduction of the event, followed by a hands-on indoor activity with live wildlife featuring the Huron-Clinton Metroparks Center, then a short presentation about protecting local herpetofauna (reptiles & amphibians) within our communities and lastly finishing with a nature walk/park clean-up.
There will be FREE food (such as doughnuts, cookies, bananas, oranges, etc) and light refreshments provided as well as the ability to earn volunteer hours and/or Learning Beyond the Classroom Group 3 credit but in order to attend the event, earn community service/LBC credit, and receive the specific details on where to meet within Burns Park, participants must RSVP by filling out the Form below.
